Just another December,
But landmarked in history
By a nanoparticle that swept
This #nanotechnological# world, off its feet
With its monstrous might.
Ravaging through the planet
Ripping life apart
Roasting economies
….. Rendering us clueless!
Amid this ocean − of negativity,
And sea − of disaster,
He stands in Solidarity
Much like a ‘Warrior’,
Always on the move
Risking life, to fight death
And save lives
’coz for him, they all matter.
Multitasking −
Strategizing hospitals, streamlining wards
Caring for patients, coming in hoards
Searching and researching
To help the world fight it better,
And win!
He stays away from family
To keep ’em all safe
Neither attends the cremation
Nor visits the grave,
Sweats it out instead
In his #Plastic Perspiring Equipment#
To stand tall
Between life and death, for all.
Yet, at times sadly,
In an unfortunate world,
He is Blamed and Beaten
and Ousted and Ostracized
By none other than the ones
For whom he fights..
Despite the irony, more of a plight,
He takes pride
In being − a HCWarrior.
